Studio Etiquette

Arrival – Please arrive at least five minutes before class begins. If you are new to the studio, plan on arriving at least 10 minutes prior to the time class starts so you can become familiar with the studio and have enough time to register for class. If you are visiting the studio while another class is in session, we ask that you enter the reception area quietly and move into the waiting area until that class is over.

Scents – Due to various sensitivities, we ask that you not wear perfumes, colognes, scented body sprays or lotions. If you smoke, please do your best to not smell like it when coming to the studio.

Eating – Try to eat at least one to two hours before class. If you must eat within this time prior to class then we recommend keeping it light and limiting your fluid intake, i.e. water, juice, coffee, etc.

Clothes – Wear comfortable clothing that you can move around in. Try not to wear anything that is too loose and causes bunching or possible exposure of certain body parts. The same goes for clothes that are too tight. We want you to feel confident, comfortable and focused on your class of choice, not your clothes.

Equipment – Our studio offers the use of yoga mats, blocks, straps and bolsters at no charge however, we encourage you to invest in your own mat at some point and are happy to give you some direction regarding the type of mat that may be best suited for you and your practice. If you do use a studio mat, we ask that you clean it after class. Cleaner and paper towels are provided.

Personal Belongings – Please leave your cell phone in your vehicle. If you must bring it into the studio we request that you put it on vibrate or preferably, silent mode. We also ask that you leave any valuables like purses or wallets at home or in your vehicle but they can be stored in the cubbies in the waiting room. Shoes should be left outside of the studio room. Cashiers Valley Fusion is not responsible for any personal items/belongings that are lost or stolen but in either case will do our very best to assist you in recovering those items.
