WHAT DO I WEAR TO YOGA?

Wear comfortable workout clothes or attire that won’t be restrictive to your movement. Depending on your comfort level, you may be more comfortable with tops that won’t flip over your head in downward dog or other poses.


WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY FIRST CLASS?

Before arriving at your first class, come prepared with a yoga mat and a water bottle, that’s it! At Fusion Yoga & Wellness, you have the support of an instructor every step of the way. Just be yourself, come as you are...and enjoy the experience!


I’VE NEVER BEEN TO A YOGA CLASS AND FEEL INTIMIDATED.

We’re glad you chose us for your first class! Our compassionate and highly skilled instructors will walk with you through your class and answer any questions you may have. Our classes are often filled with everyone on different yoga journeys - from beginners to the more experienced. Relax! You’re welcome here! .


I’M NOT FLEXIBLE, CAN I STILL PRACTICE YOGA?

Yes! Taking a yoga class is perfect for you if you’re not flexible. Each class will allow you to stretch and practice. Come as you are and you will find that yoga practice will help you become more flexible.


Unlike a traditional workout or gym equipment, yoga is more than just physical activity. Yoga is about connecting the movement of the body and the workings of the mind to the rhythm of our breath. Connecting the mind, body, and breath helps us to direct our attention inward. In yoga, you build an awareness of yourself. It is a very personal experience and can look different for everyone.
